Sepia
From Jose Miguel Hernandez Wiki
In the Spring Semester of 2002 at Cuesta College, I helped found The Film Collective. A group of about a dozen voted on a script and then gathered twice a week for several months to preproduce Sepia, co-written by April Raine and Abraham Hyatt. I was involved in all aspects of preproduction including script development, casting, location scouting and storyboarding. In the Summer, we spent 3 weeks shooting. Half of the shoot consisted of still photos that I photoshoped into props and worked into a composite for the credits. I helped edit the film several times due to a few hard drive crashes. I also worked as a producer, bringing in the cinematographer, lights, PD-150 camera and post-production hardware.
